Write for Us!
GenerationJ.com is an online vehicle for expressing diverse 20- and 30-something voices. We are always looking for new content. Our articles run between 800-1000 words in length and include photos and/or graphics. Those are the norms, yet we have been known to make exceptions. Please have a look around the site in order to get better acquainted with our style.

Audience

Articles should fit into one of our seven sections: Relationships, Lifestyles, Social Action, Spirituality, Culture, Politics, and Fiction. They should be written with our audience in mind: 20- or 30-something, often less-than-affiliated with the "organized" Jewish community, and interested in learning more about Judaism, Jewish culture, and the ever-present Jewish struggles and issues.

Art Gallery

We are now accepting art for our Gallery. If you are interested in showing your work on GenJ, please send us something to look at--.jpg or .gif files, stills, printed reproductions, or URLs. The one requirement is that the works be somehow uploadable.

Compensation

In the past we have monetarily compensated our writers and contributors on an experience-level and work-demanded basis. We hope to continue doing so in the future; however, due to organizational restructuring and the current state of the economy, we are presently not paying for content.

Submitting Content

All submissions and inquiries should be sent to Josh@JFLmedia.com. Please send articles in Word documents when possible.

Submitting Graphics
Please submit photos and graphics via email in .jpg or .gif files with as high resolution as possible. Include captions and suggested article placement when applicable.

Response
We will try to respond to your inquiry and/or acknowledge your submission as soon as possible, but please be patient; we are a non-profit with limited resources.

Encouragement

This is your site. Please share your article ideas, suggested feature topics, dreams about the future of the site. One of the beauties of being an entrepreneurial startup operation is that the future is uncharted. Please lend us your voice and your leadership. Thanks for reading and writing GenJ! We look forward to receiving your work for consideration.

Cheers,
