Lights In Action is a student-run, independent, pluralist network of Jewish college students who are convinced that college students need to define Judaism for themselves.

This is LIA's second conference for children of interfaith families at Oberlin College in Ohio. College students from all over will gather for a weekend of candid conversations as well as exploration into the relevance of biblical and contemporary texts.

Featuring well-known speakers, an intergenerational lunch for children of interfaith families, and student-run sessions, the weekend promises to be satisfying for all students of interfaith families, from those who strongly identify as Jewish to those who do not consider themselves religiously affiliated.

Conference includes student-led workshops exploring the issues of identity, stereotypes, ritual, tradition, and culture. In addition the conference will include the celebration of Shabbat, an intergenerational dialogue, and well-known speakers.

CONFERENCE SCHEDULE AVAILABLE ON REQUEST.
