UJC Helping Kosovo
UJC FEDERATIONS OF NORTH AMERICA OPENS MAILBOX TO ASSIST KOSOVO REFUGEES On the eve of Passover, the Jewish holiday during which the Exodus from Egypt is recounted, UJC Federations of North America has established a national open mailbox, and is accepting contributions, to assist Kosovo refugees. Aid will be provided on a non-sectarian basis. Local federations are urged to open mailboxes as well, as a method of expressing concern. All donations forwarded by federations to UJC Federations of North America will be designated as coming from that community. Checks should be made out to the Council of Jewish Federations (CJF) Disaster Relief Fund. UJC Federations of North America is a partnership of CJF, United Jewish Communities, and United Israel Appeal.
